Simple Syrup is a food and culture journal, written and managed by undergraduate students at Washington University in St. Louis. Through a combination of thought-provoking writings and humorous reflections, Simple Syrup dives into the interaction between food and culture. The "foodie" culture is looked at from all angles, from #foodporn to reforming food policy and St. Louis favorites to Korean muk-bang.
