Luis is an archaeologist and magister by the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, with doctoral studies and qualified experience in archaeological research projects in the topics of survey, excavation, laboratory work, and management of ancient collections. His academic interests include the archaeological study of the region of Cuzco, Peru, the ancient metallurgy of the Peruvian Central Coast for late periods, and topics related to urban archeology and Inka social landscapes.
