Biography
I am a biological anthropologist and human biologist broadly interested in human-microbe coevolution, evolutionary medicine, life history theory, and sexual dimorphism in disease. My dissertation research investigates the relationships between gut microbial estrogen metabolism, inflammation, and hormone-sensitive disease risk using methods like 16S rRNA sequencing, liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry metabolomics, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays.
I am the 2025-2026 Graduate and Professional Student Council (GPSC) representative for the Anthropology department as well as a member of the Graduate Student Affairs Advisory Board (GSAAB) and the WashU Advocates Bears Caucus
