Graduate student Caitlin Rankin receives Richard Hay Award from Geological Society of America

Congratulations to Caitlin Rankin, a graduate student in archaeology and geoarchaeology in the Department of Anthropology at Washington University in St. Louis, who has been named a co-recipient of the Geological Society of America’s prestigious Richard Hay Award. Recipients for this competitive award are selected based on the scientific merit of their research topic and the clarity of their expanded paper or poster abstract. Caitlin will be presenting on her recent research on the effects of climate change at the Cahokia site in Illinois.
