Lambda Alpha

Lambda Alpha National Anthropology Honor Society

Lambda Alpha is a national anthropology honorary society open to majors with at least junior standing who maintain a 3.0 GPA and have taken a minimum of 12 credits of anthropology courses. The local chapter, Beta, is active and has funding to underwrite events. The national organization has annual scholarships for which applicants are nominated by the Anthropology Department. Membership in the organization confers honors at commencement.
