Cara Ocobock, recipient of the Dean's Award for Teaching Excellence, is in her third year of graduate studies and is working towards a Ph.D. in physical anthropology. The Office of Graduate Studies in Arts & Sciences notes that Cara "is very knowledgeable about skeletal anatomy and combines that expertise with a devotion to teaching that stands out in a department of dedicated TAs. Cara provided exemplary training in Human Osteology, working with students in extra lab time to help them learn the anatomy in a very demanding course, while maintaining an objective professionalism. She is an exceptional TA, described as putting her heart and soul into her students, while also maintaining the highest teaching ideals of excellence and performance."
Cara's achievement was also noted in the Washington University Record and it will be publicized in the Commencement booklet when she completes her studies.
