Biomarkers of Immune Function and Health

The Biomarkers of Immune Function and Health Lab investigates how living conditions and environmental factors shape disease risk and immune function. By examining infection patterns and immune responses using a biocultural framework, we aim to construct a more complete picture of illness while also generating data of use to participant communities. To assess these patterns, we analyze a range of biological samples, including stool, hair, saliva, and dried blood spots.
